Feather

The first time I saw you, you was just a couple of days old and looked just like a little doll. I knick named you my little feather.

You and your mom spent a lot of time with us when you was a toddler, never tiring and always full of energy and mischief! But I loved that about you!

I remember the one morning, your mom was running a bit late in taking Frankie to school and you was in full blown tantrum mode! I was walking the opposite way and when I was passed you I swooped you up in my arms and told your mom I'd put the kettle on! You stopped the tantrum immediately (probably out of shock) and stopped the tears and just stared at me with those beautiful big eyes. Soon as I got in my house we shared a couple of biccies until your mom arrived just minutes after. It was times like these I cherish and will never forget. I have so many other little stories about you that I will share with your own daughter some day.

Your eldest cousin spent a lot of time with you when she was in her teens and would babysit for your mom on occasion. I am sure she has plenty of stories to share too.

The loss we feel cannot be put into words or actions, it still feels so surreal. But your daughter Layla has your fighting spirit my little Feather and she will hear so many beautiful stories about her mom and what a beautiful soul you were.

You have left a huge hole in this world sweetie, but you will never be forgotten and forever be loved. Proud you are my Niece and love you always.
